Single-stage cylinder pressure regulators are used to reduce compressed, liquefied and dissolved gases from cylinders with a maximum inlet pressure of 200 bar to the desired working pressure, as independently as possible of inlet pressure or withdrawal rate fluctuations. The upstream pressure dependency of single-stage cylinder pressure regulators is approx. 1.5%, so that readjustment is necessary from time to time when the cylinder is emptied.
