EBC Contour Bremsscheibe: Designed to improve braking performance compared to the original disc brake. EBC utilizes heat-treated carbon steel for the MX Contour brake discs, which is significantly more resistant to rust than cast steel. The entire surface is protected with a 3-micron thick zinc layer that wears off in the contact zone during bedding in. Only in this area can slight surface rust form after prolonged idle time.

The discs are drilled in a bird wing design to provide optimal cleaning from rainwater and brake dust with minimal holes. Fewer holes mean better wet braking performance and reduced wear.
